At Maven Mane, every piece is inspected through a multi-point Quality Control process prior to shipment. While issues are rare, we stand behind our craftsmanship and offer a 14-Day Workmanship Guarantee to protect against verified defects in construction or materials.

This guarantee applies to manufacturing workmanship only, not subjective preference or post-delivery modifications.

What This Guarantee Covers

This guarantee protects against verified workmanship defects that materially impact the performance, comfort, or longevity of the unit, including:

• Lace tearing or fraying at seams upon arrival (not caused by handling, cutting, or installation)
  
• Visible holes or gaps in lace unrelated to wear or alteration
  
• Wefts detaching from the base due to improper sewing or construction
  
• Loose or faulty knotting that causes shedding beyond normal expectations
  
• Uneven or faulty ventilation resulting in visible bald spots
  
• Clips, combs, bands, or fastening mechanisms detaching or failing upon arrival
  
• Verified measurement or balance defects, including length discrepancies or asymmetry, once inspected on a level surface by our Quality Control team
  

What This Guarantee Does Not Cover

This guarantee does not apply to:

• Damage caused by improper washing, coloring, heat styling, or chemical processing beyond manufacturer guidelines
  
• Alterations or customizations made after delivery, including cutting, thinning, coloring, perming, curl setting, or texture modification
  
• Shedding, tangling, dryness, or fading consistent with normal wear and virgin hair behavior
  
• Lighting-based color perception or tone variation prior to washing and setting
  
• Decisions to change style, length, curl pattern, density, or color originally selected
  
• Subjective dissatisfaction or preference-based concerns
  
• Evaluation performed prior to proper inspection or without returning the unit
  

Important Inspection Requirement

All workmanship claims require the unit to be returned for inspection.

Measurements, balance, and construction cannot be accurately verified from photos, mannequin placement, or pre-inspection handling. Evaluation is conducted only after the unit is:

• Returned to Maven Mane
  
• Unaltered (not cut, washed, styled, colored, or modified)
  
• Inspected on a level surface by our Quality Control team
  

Units that are altered prior to inspection are not eligible for workmanship claims.

Verified vs. Unverified Defects

Verified Defects

If a verified workmanship defect is confirmed:

• Stock pieces will be repaired or replaced at no cost
  
• If repair is not feasible, a replacement will be issued
  
• Refunds are issued only if replacement is not possible
  

Unverified Defects

If inspection confirms the unit meets the original specifications:

• The piece will be returned to the purchaser
  
• Refunds will not be issued for subjective dissatisfaction, preference changes, or unverified claims
  

Refund Policies

Refunds are issued only when a replacement cannot be produced due to the unit being fully custom, discontinued, or no longer manufacturable using the original specifications. Stock units are eligible for replacement and do not qualify for refunds once a replacement is available.

Chargebacks & Active Claims (IMPORTANT)

Initiating a chargeback or third-party payment dispute during an active workmanship claim immediately transfers resolution to the payment processor.

For Brand Partners:

• Filing a chargeback during an active claim results in immediate removal from the Brand Partner program
  
• Wholesale access, commissions, certifications, and partner privileges are revoked
  
• The dispute will proceed through the payment processor in accordance with Maven Mane’s published policies
  

This action is administrative and does not imply wrongdoing by either party.

How to Make a Claim

1. Email info@mavenmane.com within 14 days of delivery
   
2. Include your order number and clear photos or video of the concern
   
3. Our Quality Control team will review and provide return instructions if applicable
   
4. Upon inspection, we’ll communicate the determination and next steps
