Postpartum, stress-induced trichotillomania had taken over my life. I was pulling & cutting my hair out daily — not metaphorically, but literally — and hiding from the world.
Friends would gently suggest, “Have you ever thought about wigs?”
But the idea felt shameful. Even covering what I was hiding felt like admitting defeat.
Until one day, I stepped into a room where I was attending a business conference with 1,000 women, wearing a wig to cover my shame hidden beneath.
I chose that day, and the 3 days following, to have fun in any identity I wanted. So, each day I wore a different wig and what happened next changed me forever.

Women came up to me and said, “You’re an icon.” and from that moment, my fascination with wigs turned into a mission.
Shortly after, I was introduced to a wig designer who offered to send me one custom piece. When it arrived—the scent, the texture, the realness—I wept. It didn’t feel like a wig. It felt like me.
That’s when I knew: the world needed education on hair loss and premium, full-coverage hair solutions. Especially in salons, where most women go looking for answers—and leave without them.
Today, Maven Mane is expanding across all 50 states, offering medical-grade, hand-crafted wigs & educations for salons—without the burden of carrying inventory.
This is more than a beauty brand.

Jamie is the visionary behind Maven Mane—a serial entrepreneur, speaker, and beauty industry disruptor who turned her personal journey with trichotillomania into a movement that’s redefining confidence for women everywhere.
After spending years hiding behind hats and shame, Jamie reclaimed her identity through high-end wigs—and quickly realized the world needed access to solutions that felt as luxurious as they were life-changing.
Now, as CEO and Founder, Jamie leads Maven Mane with one mission: to make every woman feel iconic, beginning with her crown. From brand direction to salon education, she’s building more than a wig company—she’s creating a culture of full-expression, reinvention, and limitless self-worth.
