Shipping Policy

All Maven Mane products are made-to-order. Production and shipping timelines vary by product type. Please review the details below before placing your order.

1. Wigs (Made-to-Order)

Production & Processing:

Custom production timelines are estimated at approximately 6–12 weeks before applicable processing and shipping. These are estimates only, not guaranteed delivery dates. Certain periods—including international manufacturing holidays, supplier closures, material sourcing delays, customs processing, quality control revisions, or high-volume production seasons—may extend timelines beyond the original estimate.

Because each custom unit is made specifically for the order, delays in production timing do not make the order eligible for cancellation, refund, or chargeback.

If a production timeline materially exceeds the original estimate, Maven may, at its sole discretion, offer a courtesy store credit or alternative accommodation.

Shipping:
Once shipped, estimated delivery timelines are:

  • United States: 3–5 business days
  • Canada: 5–7 business days
  • United Kingdom & Europe: 5–10 business days
  • Australia: 7–10 business days
  • Other International: Delivery times vary by destination

Tracking:
A tracking number will be provided once your order has shipped.

International Holiday Delay Expectations

Maven manufactures through international production partners. Temporary factory closures due to internationally recognized holidays (including but not limited to Lunar New Year and seasonal holiday shutdowns) are standard in global manufacturing and may materially affect production timelines.

 

2. Extensions (Made-to-Order)

Production & Processing:
Extensions require approximately 2 weeks made-to-order production for base colors, and 4 week made-to-order production and order preparation. Timelines may vary based on order volume and supplier capacity.

Shipping:
Once shipped, estimated delivery timelines are:

  • United States: 3–5 business days
  • Canada: 7–10 business days
  • United Kingdom & Europe: 7–10 business days
  • Australia: 9–12 business days
  • Other International: Delivery times vary by destination

Fulfillment Location:
Extensions ship directly from our manufacturing facility to the customer. Packaging and shipment may differ from wig orders.

 

3. Separate Shipments

If your order contains both wigs and extensions, they will ship separately from different facilities. You will receive separate tracking numbers for each shipment, and items may arrive on different dates.


4. Duties, VAT & Taxes

Import Duties:
For international orders, Maven Mane covers import duties associated with your shipment.

VAT/GST & Local Taxes:
Customers are responsible for any VAT, GST, or local country taxes required by their region. These may be collected by the local postal service or courier prior to delivery. (VAT/GST is a standard tax in many countries and is not the same as import duty.)

U.S. Sales Tax:
Sales tax applies to U.S. orders where required by state law.

 

5. 14-Day Workmanship Guarantee

If there is a workmanship or manufacturing concern, you may be eligible for support under our 14-Day Workmanship Guarantee. This period begins on the date the order is marked “delivered.” For full details, refer to our Refund & Return Policy.


6. No Returns, Exchanges, or Cancellations

Due to the custom, made-to-order nature of our products:

  • All sales are final.
  • We do not accept returns or exchanges.
  • Once production has begun, the order cannot be cancelled or modified.

7. Shipping Delays

Shipping and delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to:
• Carrier or courier delays
• Customs inspections
• Peak holiday seasons
• Global or regional disruptions

These delays are outside of our control and are not grounds for cancellation, refund, or chargeback.

 

8. Brand Partner Responsibility

Brand Partners are independent business owners responsible for setting clear expectations with their own clients regarding custom production timelines.

Maven is the manufacturing and fulfillment partner—not the Brand Partner’s direct retail client relationship manager.

Brand Partners are required to use an approved wig purchase agreement with their clients for all custom orders.


9. Incorrect Address or Missed Delivery

Customers are responsible for entering a correct and complete shipping address at checkout. If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, refusal, or missed delivery attempts, reshipment fees will apply.
